The Tube and Link shutter is typically electrically operated via a hard wired switch or remote control with appropriate safety features.

Low to medium security commercial sites where see-through vision is a priority up to 6m wide and 27m². The brickbond design affords 75% see through vision and allows air to flow through the shutter. The Tube & Link grille can be used internally behind glass for shop displays, or as a standalone security barrier for shopfronts and car parks.

These sizes apply to standard shutter roll methods only. Reverse rolled curtains will require larger boxes than those shown. Plate sizes shown as a guide only and may increase dependent on shutter width.
Galvanised steel guide channel depth will vary dependent on width and application.
For shutters up to 5000mm width the channel depth is 65mm.
For shutters over 5000mm width depth we use a 100mm Windlock option
Guide channels are bolted onto angle or box section, depending on the application.
Galvanised steel bottom rail: either ‘L’ or ‘T’ shape.
Tubular Motor: Ellard tubular motor with internal rocker switch or external key switch and safety brake as appropriate to comply with legislation. Manual override facility & crank handle as required (surcharge applies).
Outboard Motor: GfA Safedrive & Ranger single or three phase motor with integrated safety brake, chain manual override and push button control station as standard. Other motor and operator brands available include Ellard, Link Controls and Marantec.
Numerous control option variants such as timed closure, group, remote or mobile phone activation with all appropriate safety features.
